By accessing or using this website, software, SDKs, or any related services we provide (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Your Use of the Services

• Use the Services only as permitted by applicable law and these Terms.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Services, or interfere with other users’ access.
• You are responsible for any content you submit and for securing appropriate rights and permissions.
• For edge deployments, install and operate software only on devices you own or control, and in accordance with device OEM/OS licenses.
• You are responsible for securing edge devices (e.g., OS patches, firmware updates, physical access controls) and configuring offline operation or network egress according to your policies.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

We or our licensors own all rights in the Services and related content. You retain ownership of your inputs and outputs where applicable. To operate and improve the Services, you grant us a non‑exclusive license to host and process your content as described in our Privacy Notice. Where model runtimes, weights, or artifacts are delivered to edge devices, they are licensed—not sold—and may not be extracted, redistributed, or used to create competing datasets or models except as allowed by a separate written agreement.

4. Third‑Party Services

The Services may integrate with third‑party tools or models and depend on hardware, operating systems, and connectivity provided by others (e.g., device OEMs, OS distributors, radio/network providers). Your use of those components is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.

5. Acceptable Use

• No illegal, infringing, or harmful activities.
• No attempts to exploit vulnerabilities or bypass security.
• No misuse of model outputs (for example, claiming human authorship where disclosure is required, or using outputs to build competing datasets in violation of applicable terms).
• No deployment in safety‑critical contexts (e.g., medical diagnosis, autonomous navigation, life‑support, or industrial control) without a separate written agreement and appropriate fail‑safes.
• Comply with local laws that govern biometric data, surveillance, and export controls when operating edge sensors and models.

Edge‑specific terms for on‑device use

• On‑device processing is the default. Remote API calls may occur only for features you enable (e.g., updates, optional cloud inference, or connector integrations).
• We may provide over‑the‑air updates to address security issues and improve performance. You are responsible for timely application of critical updates to edge devices under your control.
• Optional diagnostics may be sent from devices to help us debug failures; see the Privacy Notice for details and controls.
• Device failure, battery drain, or hardware incompatibility risks are inherent to edge deployments. We are not liable for device damage or loss of use.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for any reason, including suspected violations of these Terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless a mandatory law requires otherwise.

• Comply with legal obligations.
• For edge devices, enable safe on‑device inference, offline operation, and optional over‑the‑air updates.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers and infrastructure partners who process it on our behalf under contractual safeguards. For edge deployments, we avoid sending raw sensor data to the cloud unless you enable a connector that requires it. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Retention and security

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and secure it with appropriate technical and organizational measures. Where feasible, privacy‑preserving techniques (e.g., encryption at rest, differential privacy, or on‑device redaction) are used to minimize transfer of sensitive information from edge devices.

Your choices

• Request access, correction, deletion, or portability where applicable.
• Opt out of non‑essential communications.
• Control diagnostics and connector settings on devices to restrict outbound data flow from the edge.

Children

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 (or as defined by law).

Jurisdiction

This Privacy Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If you are located in another jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under your local laws, which we will honor to the extent required.
