Kalon for Mac
Open Settings from your profile card in the sidebar. Settings opens as a panel over the window. Press Esc or click outside it to close. A search field at the top of the pane list filters the panes. Settings cannot be opened from a child profile.

Online models

Kalon Link

Account
- Your photo and display name. The name defaults to the name of your macOS account.
- Data folder with Reveal.
- Backup: Create a backup and Import a backup. See Encrypted backups.
- Delete all chats, after confirming. This cannot be undone.
- About Kalon with the version.
Usage
Totals computed from a ledger kept on this Mac: tokens generated, busiest day, longest session, streaks, a token activity chart, activity insights and the most used models. With Family profiles on, it also shows screen time for each profile. Nothing in it is sent anywhere.
Notch

The notch
The notch is a small black panel at the top centre of the screen with three rings. It stays visible when Kalon is in the background. Hover a ring for details.

Rings are green below 75 percent, amber below 95 percent and red above. The notch is not shown in a child profile.
Keyboard shortcuts (Mac)

Kalon also has a menu bar item with Open Kalon, Lock or Unlock, and Quit Kalon. Closing the window hides it; ⌘Q quits and stops the local API server, MCP servers and terminals.
Kalon for iPhone and iPad
Settings is one list divided into sections. Paths such as Settings › Privacy in these docs refer to those sections.

Reminders schedules a notification at a time you choose. It arrives as a normal notification whether or not Kalon is open.
